Bell Tower

Mrs. Blanco’s and Ms. Avila’s Varying Exceptionalities (VE) Class celebrated the completion of the thematic unit titled Seven Natural Wonders of North America, with a field trip to Everglades National Park. The students witnessed firsthand the natural beauty of Florida’s Everglades. They also marveled at the splendor of this unique ecosystem which God has richly blessed us with.

4th Graders Go Buggy

Fourth grade was all a buzz on October 16th as they shared their insect projects. The students learned how to do research in the computer lab about an insect. Then they created a three dimensional representation of their insect and designed a habitat. It was so much fun to see how creative and wonderful these projects were!

Fourth Grade Harvest Party

On Thursday, October 22nd, Mrs. Vlachos’ class went to Palm Aire Park to celebrate the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the harvest season. With the approaching Thanksgiving season, we had the opportunity to give thanks for the many blessings the Lord has bestowed on us. We played many fun games like pumpkin relay race, 3 legged race, potato sack race, donut on a string, milk bottle throw, and searching for quarters in piles of hay. Also since it was Mrs. Vlachos’ birthday, the students surprised her with a party and showered her with many lovely cards and gifts.

New Uniforms at CCA?

5th grader James Hansen earned 107 AR points for the first quarter, and used some of those points to buy a "No Uniform For A Day" pass from the AR store. Way to go James!
