5th Grade World War II Celebration 3rd quarter was very busy and exciting for 5th grade as we had a combined WW II unit for our social studies, language arts and reading classes. We ended the unit with a huge celebration that was held in the 5th grade hallway and classrooms. All of the projects were on display, as well as book reports and war posters that were made by the students. We also had a museum with many WW II artifacts. For the oral portion of the report, parents and several elementary classes, came out to hear our fifth graders present. Our first annual celebration was a huge success and great experience for our fifth graders, as well as the many elementary students and parents who learned from the wonderful presentations!
